History

 

Genesee Valley Masters was created in October of 2013 as Victor Swim Club Masters as a partnership between Perinton Recreation and Parks, Victor Swim Club, and Victor Parks and Recreation.  The team was successful and grew; as a result, Perinton Recreation and Parks took over the program in October of 2015 and renamed it Genesee Valley Masters to begin building a regionally diverse team.

 

The mission of the team is to create and support swimming cultures in the community for swim club parents of all teams, past competitive swimmers, triathletes, those new to the sport, and anyone looking for fitness in the water.  This foundation is built upon by the athletes, coaches, and administrators; all continually strive to facilitate this mission.
